Aujourd'hui je partage avec vous la toute belle conversation entre Chris et Melissa Bruntlett et moi, autour de comment fabriquer une ville plus inclusive et relationnelle.
Nous y évoquons leurs derniers livres et tous les co-bénéfices que vivre dans une ville apaisée comme Delft peut faire émerger dans nos vies, parfois même sans que nous en ayons vraiment conscience.
Je vous recommande très chaleureusement la lecture de leurs ouvrages, dont le rythme très vivant alternant retours d'expériences vécues et entretiens avec des experts reconnus des domaines de la mobilité, de l'urbanisme et de la santé nous plongent dans un récit passionnant à suivre comme un roman ! Cette fiction de nos villes fonctionnelles qui se transforment en villes relationnelles devient sous nos yeux une question : et si c'était possible ? Puis devient une réalité : d'autres l'ont fait, d'autres le font jour après jour. Ils ne s'arrêtent pas au milieu du gué, mais progressent chaque jour un peu plus vers cet objectif de créer une ville plus vivante, plus vivable et plus vibrante, une ville où nous voulons vraiment vivre ensemble.
Dans cette ville relationnelle, vivre ensemble n'est pas un effort : cela coule de source dans des environnements urbains où place est faite d'abord aux humains. Le message des Bruntlett, c'est que que cette ville peut être la vôtre !
